Earth Day Is So Over

The Angry Toxicologist has a great post on the irrelevancy of Earth Day.

Is Earth Day irrelevant? I tend to agree that it is. I barely registered it. But today the Earth had to compete with the Democratic Party cage-match PA Primary. Not a fair contest.

I live as greenly as possible everyday. Here are the ways I try to green my world:

• Buy as much local sustainably produced food as possible (lucky to live in PA)
• Reuse just about every plastic packaging that comes into the house and recycle what we can (only 1 & 2)
• Bring our own shopping bags
• Walk and take transit as much as possible
• Use rags instead of paper towels
• Use cloth napkins
• Use online banking, bill pay and other services where available

That's all I can think of at this hour. What do you do?
